Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning Operations

Clean Team is seeking an energetic, results-driven Area Manager to oversee and elevate our commercial cleaning operations in the Fenton, MI area. As an Area Manager, you will serve as the operational backbone of your assigned territory-leading field staff, ensuring top-tier service quality, and maintaining excellent relationships with our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Direct, train, mentor, and motivate cleaning associates and supervisors across your assigned accounts. Foster a positive, supportive work environment focused on accountability, performance, and safety.
• Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct regular, detailed quality inspections across all client facilities to maintain strict cleanliness and service standards. Address and resolve operational deficiencies promptly.
• Client Relations & Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for facility managers and business clients. Build strong professional relationships, conduct client check-ins, and resolve concerns efficiently to ensure maximum satisfaction and contract retention.
• Operations & Resource Management: Manage staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and labor allocations. Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance to ensure teams have the proper tools to succeed without exceeding budgets.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and proper chemical handling procedures across all work sites.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience in supervisory, management, or team lead roles (experience in commercial janitorial, facilities management, hospitality, or retail logistics is a strong plus).
• Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple facility sites.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
