  • Gain regular exposure to senior leaders and key business initiatives.
  • Play an important role in shaping and delivering our city-store strategy and future store formats.
  • Build your profile through the unique opportunities, pace and challenges that a London-facing region presents.
  • Develop broad leadership experience across a diverse mix of urban, suburban and regional locations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Putting customers at the heart of every decision, using insight, feedback and local knowledge to continuously improve the customer experience and drive loyalty.
  • Leading, developing and inspiring Branch Managers to build high-performing teams, deliver outstanding service and achieve exceptional commercial results.
  • Creating a culture of accountability and excellence, where colleagues understand expectations, feel empowered to succeed and take pride in delivering their best every day.
  • Driving area performance, using sales, KPI and financial data to identify opportunities, manage risk and deliver sustainable growth.
  • Building leadership capability across your stores through coaching, feedback, talent development and meaningful performance conversations.
  • Championing diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, creating an environment where every colleague feels they belong, can contribute and has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Challenging the status quo and leading continuous improvement, identifying smarter ways of working to enhance service, standards and operational execution.
  • Ensuring operational excellence across every store, delivering strong compliance, consistent standards and effective execution of business initiatives and marketing plans.
  • Maintaining a visible presence in stores, providing practical support, constructive challenge and high-quality operational feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing stock, costs and budgets effectively, ensuring resources are optimised to maximise profitability and performance.
  • Leading new store openings and contributing to strategic projects, helping shape the future growth and success of Screwfix.
