Lead a portfolio of six concrete plants across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region, playing a key role in driving safety, operational performance and team engagement. Based from our Labrador plant, you'll be a visible and hands-on leader, regularly visiting sites and working closely with plant teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a large, high-performing operation while building your leadership career with Boral.

Your day will involve:

  • Leading the safe and efficient operation of six concrete plants across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region
  • Coaching, developing and supporting frontline leaders and plant teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Managing plant performance, production costs, budgets and financial outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Travelling regularly between sites to provide visible leadership, solve operational issues and drive continuous improvement

This permanent full-time role is ideally suited to a Gold Coast-based leader who enjoys being visible in the business and working closely with operational teams. Typical hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 3:30pm, however flexibility is required to support operational needs, including occasional after-hours activity and Saturday on-call commitment across the region. Night shift operations are also in place at our Burleigh Heads and Benowa plants, requiring leadership oversight and support when required.

  • Proven leadership experience within the concrete, construction materials or related industry
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and creating a positive safety culture
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions
  • Experience leading teams, resolving employee matters and building high-performing cultures
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing costs, performance and operational outcomes
