Job Description

We are looking for an Area Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, based at the Westbury AIRR site.

We’re seeking an Area Manager to lead AIRR’s Tasmanian wholesale business, with end-to-end accountability for commercial performance, operations, and people leadership. This hands-on role oversees warehouse operations and regional sales while building strong relationships with AIRR members, customers, and partners across the state. Balancing strategy with execution, you’ll drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence, ensuring AIRR’s standards, safety, and commercial disciplines are consistently delivered.

Responsibilities

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering regional sales growth, margin and profitability targets across Tasmania in line with national strategy
  • Ensuring safe, efficient and reliable warehouse and logistics operations at Westbury
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with AIRR members and wholesale customers
  • Leading, developing and engaging a high-performing local team with a strong safety and performance culture
  • Managing costs, working capital and operational performance in line with business plans
  • Participating in strategy and planning for the area and state
