Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $9,000.00 Salary/yearPosition Purpose
The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Cover Care brand are consistently executed across assigned markets. This role oversees brand integrity, team leadership, and operational excellence while supporting upper management initiatives. The Area Manager regularly travels to assigned markets to evaluate field performance, ensure adherence to company standards, and collaborate closely with team members to drive results and maintain consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Market Operations
- Contribute to the daily operations of the market in which you are based.
- Maintain daily communication with Headquarters and assigned markets to ensure alignment, consistency, and operational excellence.
- Monitor market performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Quality Control & Brand Adherence
- Review completed jobs to ensure all work meets Cover Care standards and quality expectations.
- Conduct jobsite visits to observe, evaluate, and document adherence to the Cover Care Way.
- Follow up with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Team Leadership
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to Area Managers and Technicians.
- Ensure all team members maintain a professional appearance and represent the Cover Care brand with integrity.
- Oversee the maintenance and presentation of company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure brand consistency and safety standards.
Customer Experience
- Foster exceptional customer satisfaction through professional, courteous, and solution-oriented interactions.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively to maintain loyalty and protect the brand reputation.
Operational Support
- Participate in SWAT assignments as needed to support business operations and team success.
- Lead regional field meetings and provide continuous training and development opportunities for team members.
- Review and approve team timecards and time-off requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Additional Responsibilities
- Conduct assigned sales visits and support revenue growth initiatives.
- Complete weekly expense reports and ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Manage and maintain organization within local storage units.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in field operations, home services, construction, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams or markets is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel regularly to assigned markets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to analyze operational performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field management software systems.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel frequently and work in various market locations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect job sites for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, as necessary.

Qualifications
Education and

Experience:
- Required:
- - High school diploma or GED.
- - 5+ years of experience in automatic pool cover service.
- Preferred:
- - Experience in a management or supervisory role.
- - Valid driver's license.

- - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- - Strong customer service focus with the ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Technical Proficiency:
- - Advanced understanding of pool cover mechanics and basic electrical/mechanical knowledge.

- - Ability to provide clear direction and feedback to team members.
- Leadership & Independence:
- - Ability to lead teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
- - Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays and short-notice departures.
- Physical & Mental Requirements:
- - Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, and move frequently throughout the workday.
- - Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
- - Ability to work in outdoor environments, exposed to noise, temperature extremes, dust, and moving machinery.
