Job Title: Area Maintenance Manager

The Area Maintenance Manager at S.C. Swiderski (SCS) leads the company’s Maintenance function within a Matrix Organizational Structure that balances technical process ownership with service accountability to Property Management. This role oversees all Maintenance personnel—including Area Maintenance Leads, Maintenance Technicians (I-III), and Maintenance Coordinators—and ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of all SCS-owned and managed properties.
Working collaboratively with the Leasing Director, Area Property Managers, and Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Manager establishes maintenance standards, manages resources, drives operational excellence, and develops systems that achieve SCS’s mission of delivering Astonishing Customer Service through property fitness, safety, and tenant satisfaction.

Work Schedule:
Full-time position; typically, 40–45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends for emergencies or special projects. In-state travel to SCS properties is required; occasional overnight stays may be necessary.

Work is performed primarily at the SCS Warehouse and managed properties throughout Wisconsin. The position involves both office and field work, with regular interaction with technicians, vendors, and Property Management staff. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying climate conditions is expected.
