
The Area Installation Manager (AIM) is responsible for overseeing the operations from material arrival to completion of the project. The AIM will also be responsible for all service and warranty in the branches they oversee. The AIM position will oversee part of a Region consisting of two or more locations-with direct reports in each location.
Area Installation Managers generaly earn up to $70k in their first year.
MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL HOME IMPROVEMENT / CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
1. Day to day management of installations in multiple locations within a region, which requires daily/weekly travel2. Monitor labor and material costs in accordance with branch budgets3. Maintain rolling 45 day branch installation schedules in accordance with revenue goals4. Review installation schedules with customers5. Review operational concerns with Regional Operations Manager or Regional Manager6. Perform job measures, review job orders
7. Service and warranty8. Customer updates in Production Log9. Communication with office on any installation or scheduling issues10. Perform job site visits to ensure installations are in accordance with company guidelines11. Recruiting, hiring, training, and management of field staff including Installation Supervisors, Field Supervisors, Subcontractors, Installation staff12. Ensure all safety standards are being reviewed and implemented in the field13. Conduct installation and safety meetings weekly with installation teams
14. Other duties may be assigned
Applicant should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction field operations, with a focus on sunrooms, doors, and windows. Good problem-solving skills are required. Must be competent in the use of technology and be able to function proficiently. Must be well organized and have the ability to think on your feet. Must be proactive in your approach to managing customer/employee/subcontractor interactions, company expectations, and be able to work within the organization to deliver win-win solutions for both our customers and our employees/subcontractors.
