Job Purpose: Preparation of Annual business plan (ABP), and tracking & analysis of variance between Actual expense Vs ABP along with Opex optimization. Chemicals inventory optimization and future requirements. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders & Prepare Key highlights, focus area, challenges in Refinery along with key critical performance indicators, KPIs and update the progress on performance improvement actions related to Refinery to appraise senior management. Troubleshooting of performance related issues in co-ordination with relevant functions.

Performance Opex Management

• Collect Opex inputs and refinery performance data from all departments
• Prepare tracking and variance analysis of refinery Opex
• Prepare Key highlights, Focus area, challenges in Refinery along with key critical performance indicators, KPIs
• Co-ordinate with cross functions for data collection and compilation for benchmarking study.
• Follow Opex monitoring systems

Quality System Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal systems, policies, and statutory regulations
• Scrutinize and process change requests efficiently
• Initiate skill development programs and process improvement initiatives

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Enforce EMS policies and procedures across operations
• Promote awareness and compliance with environmental standards
• Oversee hazardous/non-hazardous waste management
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions
• Authorize stoppage of unsafe activities
• Drive HSEQ performance enhancements and legal compliance

Process Safety Management

• Maintain updated chemical lists, P&IDs, interlocks, and alarms
• Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) protocols
• Track HAZOP recommendations and lead safety reviews (PHA, PSSR)
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses
• Update Standard Operating Conditions and Integrated Operating Windows

Chemical Engineer with 4 - 10 years’ experience in operations, process engineering and technical services within hydrocarbon/petrochemical sectors
