WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic & Delivery Leadership

  • Support and steer the tech organization by translating business strategy into clear direction, ambitions, and measurable outcomes across products, services, and platforms.
  • Own the area roadmap and guide portfolio and capacity decisions to ensure investments and prioritization reflect critical business needs.
  • Drive value creation by using insights, performance, and capability assessments to inform where to invest, scale, or optimize.

Financial Accountability

  • Own the full financial picture for the area, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
  • Be accountable for total tech cost (development and run), ensuring all spending delivers measurable business value and clear ROI.
  • Steer investments and ensure efficient use of resources, balancing strategic priorities, operational needs, and financial discipline.

People & Culture

  • Lead, develop, and grow talent to ensure the right capabilities for strong business and tech outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performing culture grounded in ownership and strong business acumen.
  • Oversee recruitment, performance processes, and long‑term workforce planning to build an empowered and future‑ready team.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure strategic alignment and value realization across global and regional operations for a cohesive end‑to‑end transport flow.
  • Prioritize tech development and improvement initiatives to strengthen business KPIs, operational stability, and long‑term outcomes.
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and vendor developments while overseeing service levels, business continuity, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with cross‑functional and tech stakeholders to align priorities, define value outcomes, and drive transparent, collaborative decisions.
  • Manage dependencies, sequencing, and capacity planning to ensure coherent execution and alignment with the broader development portfolio.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You work closely with the Area Tech Manager to deliver the direction and strategy you have co-created with the rest of the management team of the Transport and Trade Area, other Logistics and Domain colleagues both on Business and Tech entities. You drive collaboration with regional Transport & Trade organizations to ensure optimal use of resources. You are based in our HO in Stockholm but collaborate with colleagues across the globe.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Extensive experience leading supply chain strategy across complex global operations.
  • Deep SAP supply chain expertise, including end‑to‑end process understanding, module integration, and the ability to translate business needs into SAP‑enabled outcomes.
  • Strong capability to connect business direction with technology development, ensuring aligned priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Confidence in making both business and tech decisions, prioritizing investments, driving value, and securing end‑to‑end operational performance.
  • An analytical and insight‑driven mindset, able to turn data into decisions, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Inclusive and effective people leadership, developing talent, building strong teams, and fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders and navigate complexity.
  • Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast‑moving environment and guiding teams through change and growth.
