
Responsibilities:
·Observe and inspect various kinds automation systems across the network to ensure safe operations and reliable functionality while minimizing system downtime.
·Build and maintain strong working relationships with site and corporate staff, upholding company culture, core values, and fostering a positive team environment.
·Support sites in maintaining an adequate spare parts inventory and minimize downtime caused by component failures.
·Develop and implement part sourcing strategies that ensure high-quality components while optimizing cost savings.
·Offer recommendations and support for new part implementations to enhance overall system functionality.
·Guide and support site engineering teams regarding preventive maintenance by assisting with scheduling, staffing, work order generation, and follow-up.
·Collaborate with site engineering teams to troubleshoot and find solutions to technical issues.
·Oversee targeted training strategies for automation technicians to ensure effective skill development and knowledge transfer.
·Review breakdown and repair scenarios with engineering teams, including escalation procedures and system response protocols.
·Provide supervision and support during system commissioning to ensure smooth integration and operation.
·Serve as the point of escalation for automation maintenance related issues, troubleshooting, and resolving matters across departments.

What We Are Looking For:
The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
Education
·Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or 3+ years in an Automation Maintenance Tech role preferred.
·Required: High school diploma, GED, or earned the equivalent
Experience
·Professional knowledge and experience in Industrial Electrical troubleshooting
·Professional knowledge and experience in Industrial Mechanical troubleshooting
·Three or more years supporting, commissioning and troubleshooting PLC/PC industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
