
The performance engineering team provides enterprise wide performance testing capabilities to measure non-functional performance requirements of applications including, but not limited to, development of performance strategy, test script development, test execution coordination, and report generation and interpretation. The application performance architect must have advanced knowledge of performance testing tools such as Microfocus (HP) Loadrunner, Tricentis Neoload, Jmeter, and Gremlin for resiliency testing. The architect should have extensive experience with various monitoring tools for Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Log aggregation, and Profiling. Additionally, the architect should be able to review and provide feedback on application architecture and application integration between middle and backend services. Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools such as Source Code Management (GitHub), Continuous Integration (Jenkins), and Continuous deployment (Udeploy and Ansible) are also within the scope of an architect. Lastly, the ability to partner with product vendors, applications teams, and other support teams to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals are fulfilled through this role.
