Architectural Technician

Chanhassen, MN | Direct Hire | $24 - $37/hr

Exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to work on innovative commercial building projects nationwide for a growing company. In this role, you will be part of a team completing architectural 3D modeling, construction document production, and project production tasks for commercial building projects.

Architectural Technician Responsibilities:

  • Production of construction documents through the use of Revit BIM
  • Set up drawing sheets, and organize drawing sheet information as directed
  • Assist in the production of design details from provided redlined direction
  • Manage and coordinate model needs with internal and external design team members using BIM applications
  • Create presentation drawings and rendered exhibits for submittal to internal and external groups.

Architectural Technician Requirements:

  • AAS Degree in Architectural Technology or a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • 2+ years of professional experience with architectural production work, preferably with commercial building projects
  • Proficient use of Revit
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and NavisWorks preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of BIM/CAD procedures and standards
  • A strong foundation of technical architectural knowledge.
  • Ability to work in office Monday-Friday
