Architectural Project Manager

The Opportunity
The Project Manager – Architecture will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from start to finish. This role requires a strong understanding of design and construction processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets effectively. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
What you will do?
• Lead the planning, organization, and coordination of architectural projects, ensuring the scope, timeline, and budget are clearly defined and agreed upon with the internal project team.
• Work closely with the design and technical teams, providing guidance and oversight to ensure smooth collaboration and effective resource allocation.
• Develop and manage detailed design schedules and budgets, regularly reviewing progress and addressing any issues that arise to maintain timelines and financial targets.
• Identify potential risks or obstacles that may impact the project and proactively implement strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
• Oversee the quality control of project deliverables, ensuring compliance with design intent, building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
• Regularly provide updates to senior management and clients on project status, including milestones, challenges, and budget status. Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits during construction administration, coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure alignment with design specifications.
• Promote sustainable practices and innovative design solutions to meet environmental goals and enhance project outcomes.
• Review of RFIs and submittals to ensure the compliance with code, design intent, and client specifications.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Licensed architect with professional accreditation (LEED, AIA, RIBA, etc.).LEED accreditation, Project Management Professional (PMP), or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in architectural project management, with a proven track record of managing projects from design through construction, a total of 10+ years’ experience
• Experience working on data centers is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Solid knowledge of architectural design processes and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Asana).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and advanced architectural technology.
• Knowledge of sustainable architecture practices and experience with green building certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.).
• Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
