This position will have a requirement of 5 days onsite in office in Carmel, Indiana.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Produce, revise, and maintain architectural construction drawings in CAD
  • Apply redlines, engineering markups, and design changes accurately across all plan sheets
  • Maintain plan versions, documentation, and drawing standards
  • Collect and organize project information from internal teams and consultants
  • Prepare drawing packages for reviews, permitting, construction, and vendor coordination
  • Coordinate plan updates with engineering, product development, construction, and purchasing
  • Support Field teams by addressing architectural questions and resolving plan discrepancies
  • Assist in maintaining drafting standards, templates, and process improvements
  • Track tasks, manage deadlines, and communicate status on assigned plan updates
  • Apply basic building code and compliance requirements within plan updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices.
  • Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Some job areas may require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Required Skills

  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum 3 or more years Architecture or Construction Experience
  • Construction Document development expertise
  • Knowledge of residential construction techniques
  • Knowledge of technical and procedural activities related to home building construction including understanding plans specifications
  • Knowledge of structural elements and product installation means and methods
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Software Skills – Word, Excel, and ACAD required. BIM software is a plus
