  • Conduct thorough inspections of architectural elements, including walls, drywall, doors, windows, finishes, and related components, to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.

  • Perform inspections and testing of materials and construction methods to verify quality, performance, and structural integrity.

  • Identify the need for field changes and communicate recommendations clearly to project managers and architects.

  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve change orders efficiently and effectively.

  • Carry out comprehensive final inspections to confirm that all architectural works meet required standards and project objectives.

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and photographic documentation.

  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and details to ensure on-site execution aligns with approved design intent.

  • Monitor construction progress and proactively identify potential issues that may impact quality, safety, or project schedules.

  • Verify compliance with applicable local and international building codes, regulations, and accessibility requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure adherence to project safety plans and relevant safety regulations.

  • Participate in project meetings to present inspection findings and support the resolution of identified issues.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards, new materials, and evolving construction techniques.

  • Mentor and support junior inspectors by sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

  • Maintain accurate, organized records of inspections, tests, correspondence, and site communications.

  • Coordinate with other discipline inspectors (e.g., structural, MEP) to ensure integrated quality control across all construction activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar or equivalent role.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices.
