
Architectural Designer II

This role plays a vital part in shaping complex architectural projects, bringing technical expertise and design insight to every phase—from early investigation through coordinated execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Under the supervision of a Registered Architect, responsible for specific technical design aspects of assigned architectural projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that bestmeetsthe client’s needs.
2. Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
3. Work under minimal supervision toestablishproject plans, and execute and coordinate multiple projects, some crossingdifferent functions/disciplines.
4. Mayprovidetechnical guidance to less experienced architects.
5. Coordinate the activities of multiple divisions/departments as necessary to meet projectobjectives Contributeinconsensus decisions among project stakeholders and team members.
6. Create,maintain, andmonitoraccuratemetrics, project files, and project tracking reports such as time reporting, financial records, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets. Ownaccurateassessment and analysis of project deliverables toassistthe team with meeting projectobjectivessuch as cost, schedule, and qualityobjectives

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in architecture
At least 6 years of related experience
Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture
Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated designproject skills, techniques, and terminology
Demonstrated record of design project accomplishments
Basic level of business acumen related to budgets, expense planning, resource allocation, and forecasting
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug testresult(s)

Pay Range Data:
$36.56 - $54.03 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
