About the role

Key responsibilities:

• Proficient in cloud architectures and designing cloud-based solutions
Design, develop IoT/Cloud-based JavaScript/ Node.JS applications using Amazon Cloud Computing Services.
• Work closely with onsite, offshore, and cross functional teams, Product Management, UI/UX developers, Web and Mobile developers, QA teams to effectively build and deliver high quality and maintain on-time delivery of digital applications for safety industry.
• Complete understanding of software development life cycle, from customer needs to product release, is essential. Hands-on experience with development tools & CI/CD, dev-ops is required.
• Expertise in developing, maintaining reusable software services, infrastructure for promoting reuse of services/ components/ libraries.

Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years of Cloud software development experience under Agile development life cycle processes and tools
• Experience in Micro-services architecture.
• Experience in NodeJS applications
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform services like AWS Lambda, GraphQL, NoSQL databases, AWS Kinesis, Queues like SNS/ SQS topics
• Strong with Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) ;
• Strong experience on PaaS, IaaS cloud computing.
• Good hands-on experience in Serverless frameworks, AWS JS SDK, AWS services like Lambda, SNS, SES, SQS, SSM, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, Kinesis and Cloud Formation.
• Experience in Agile methodology with tools like JIRA, GIT, GITLAB, SVN, Bit Bucket as an active scrum member.

Preferred:
• IoT’s, Sparkplug-B knowledge/ work experience is added advantage.
• Enterprise Architecture experience is an added asset
