A growing
residential architecture practice is seeking an experienced part time Architect.

Working
closely with the Director, the successful candidate will play a leading role in
delivering thoughtfully designed residential projects from planning through to
construction. The role is ideally suited to an architect who enjoys technical
delivery, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is looking to make a
meaningful contribution within a small, ambitious practice.

The
practice is open to a wide range of flexible working arrangements, with hybrid
working available. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside
the Director at the practice's office at
Harwell Innovation Park, Oxfordshire
, at
least one day each week, with the remainder of their time worked flexibly. Part time 15- 25 hours per week.

Ideal Person

The
successful candidate is likely to:

• 
  Be ARB registered
  with at least 5 years’ residential experience working in practice.
• 
  Be proficient in our
  core design and drafting software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative
  Suite.
• 
  Be proficient in Mac
  OS.
• 
  Have strong technical
  and detailing skills with a passion for high-quality design.
• 
  Be confident managing
  projects through planning, technical design and construction.
• 
  Have a sound knowledge
  of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
• 
  Be experienced in
  coordinating consultants, clients and contractors.
• 
  Be a clear and
  confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• 
  Be self-motivated and
  comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• 
  Enjoy working within a
  small practice where their contribution will have a genuine impact.
•
