About the Role

Our client is seeking an Architect or Designer to join their Vancouver studio and contribute to a range of highly design focused residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring experience working on custom single family homes, boutique multifamily developments, townhomes, rowhomes, laneway homes, duplexes, and other smaller scale residential typologies.

The ideal candidate will also bring a strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design, excellent graphic presentation skills, and an understanding of both conceptual development and technical execution.

You will work closely with senior leadership and project teams across all phases, contributing to design development, client presentations, documentation, consultant coordination, and project delivery.

The firm is looking for someone who is highly creative, detail oriented, collaborative, and passionate about architecture at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of projects from concept through completion
• Prepare design presentations, renderings, drawings, and project documentation
• Develop thoughtful and highly detailed architectural solutions
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients
• Participate in design discussions, material selection, and project coordination
• Support projects through various phases including schematic design, design
• development, documentation, and construction administration
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of design quality across all projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field
• Registered Architect or Intern Architect preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of professional, post graduate experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high design acumen and aesthetic sensibility
• Experience working on custom homes and smaller scale multifamily residential projects
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or Revit required, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materiality, and spatial design
• Experience working across multiple project phases
• Positive and constructive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for thoughtful, refined, and highly crafted architecture
