This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Philippines, Romania and India, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

Arcadis Romania is seeking an experienced Architect II to join our dynamic Building Design & Engineering team based in GEC Romania, working with the Dutch team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. This opportunity will require working alongside senior technical leaders and BIM experts. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to grow your skills; with guidance, you will be working mostly on Industrial projects. Your involvement will range from conceptual, basis of design, design development and IFC.

Role accountabilities:

• Embrace and demonstrate the Arcadis behavioral framework in your day-to-day work.
• Prioritize your own safety and safety of others by understanding and following the Arcadis Health and Safety Principles.
• Act as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Prepare BIM models as per project requirements.
• Develop working drawings for all projects mainly using Revit with some AutoCAD
• Responsible for the creation of technical content, including details as coordinated and fully reviewed by a Senior technical lead. Work is expected to be executed to the highest standard of excellence while ensuring the design intent is consistently maintained throughout the project.
• You will work closely with the GEC project Architect team lead and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces.
• Responsible coordinating and communication within the production team
• Review own work to ensure that it meets specified standards before checking by others.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience, with a proven track record in different architectural assets, but mostly in Industrial design, including large-scale campuses and complex, multi-phase developments
• Academic qualification or experience in construction engineering is an advantage
• Proven capability across all project stages, from concept and test fits through IFC and construction support.
• Strong understanding of industrial facilities planning, typologies, and redundancy concepts, and their architectural implications.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD. Visualization tools are a plus.
• Relevant exposure to projects that involved multi-disciplinary collaboration. Experience working on European projects is an advantage.
• Task-oriented – able to switch between tasks and projects easily.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential to this role.
• Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s digital initiative and process automation efforts.
