Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

The Architect serves as a hands-on technical leader, working closely with engineers and fellow architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. This role defines pipeline architecture, establishes technical standards, and guides adoption of CI/CD and developer enablement capabilities. It partners with Development, Release Management, and Site Reliability Engineering to deliver solutions that improve software delivery, reliability, and operational excellence.

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable pipeline solutions
• Define pipeline architecture and provide technical leadership
• Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes-based solutions using Helm
• Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight for CI/CD platforms
• Drive improvements in pipeline architecture, automation, and developer experience
• Establish and promote best practices for source control, branching strategies, artifact management, pipeline design, and automation
• Optimize artifact management and software supply chain processes
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• Provide technical mentorship and architectural leadership through design reviews, implementation guidance, and knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and supporting technologies
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, story refinement, architecture reviews, and PI Planning

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience serving as an Architect, Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or in a similar architecture-focused role
• Strong experience designing and implementing pipelines, automation solutions, and developer enablement capabilities
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and Helm
• Strong understanding of Git-based source control, branching strategies, and repository management
• Experience with artifact management solutions, preferably Artifactory
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong technical leadership, collaboration, and mentorship skills, with the ability to influence technical direction through expertise and partnership
