Job Description

As the Senior Architect – Solutions (entroCIM Deployment Services) you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting entroCIM solutions across customer environments and Wesco-managed hosting platforms. You will work with business leaders, customer stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver reliable deployments, establish secure connectivity (e.g., VPN, Zero Trust), and ensure ongoing operational excellence. Key activities include solution design, Linux-based application and SkySpark deployment/configuration, containerized tool deployment, hosting environment operations (Quest and Azure), SLA attainment, documentation, and building/operating a 24/7 Tier 1 support framework with defined escalation paths.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements and design entroCIM solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Lead and support deployments at customer sites, ensuring environment readiness and secure connectivity (VPN, Zero Trust).
  • Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux-based applications and services.
  • Implement and support SkySpark environments (in house/proprietary) for entroCIM implementations.
  • Deploy and operate containerized tools (Docker/Podman) within the entroCIM solution stack.
  • Manage operations for Wesco-hosted environments (Quest and Azure), including patching, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure SLA attainment and operational KPIs; establish reporting and continuous improvement practices.
  • Build and manage a 24/7 Tier 1 support framework with defined escalation paths.
  • Respond to tickets and customer technical inquiries with clear communication and resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation (architecture diagrams, network flows, baseline configurations, operational runbooks).
  • Apply DevOps and automation practices to improve deployment repeatability and reduce operational risk.
  • Promote security and compliance standards across hosting and customer environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7 years experience in a lead development role.
  • 5+ years experience in common programming and data language, for example, JAVA, Python, SQL, .NET, API, or Data Base, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 9 years experience in a lead development role.
  • 5+ years experience in Cloud Solution.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (such as CosmosDB).
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.


For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
