This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers. The candidate will lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that leverage big data frameworks, cloud-native services, and advanced AI/GenAI capabilities. He/She will architect and engineer robust data pipelines using technologies such as Spark and Hadoop, integrate ETL tools, and utilize AWS/Azure services to support high-performance data processing and analytics. The candidate will design and implement AI and GenAI solutions with hands-on experience in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and optimizing model performance. His/Her work will align with strategic business goals and enterprise architecture standards through the development of Architecture Points of View (PoVs) and execution of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate key decisions. He/She will deliver interactive demos to cross-functional teams, explore alternative architecture patterns to meet scalability and integration needs, and conduct comparative analyses to guide decision-making across cloud-native, AI/GenAI, and data platform components. The candidate will also design and engineer semantic layers and data products using graph technologies and metadata-driven architectures, and lead platform engineering efforts to enable reusable, secure, and performant capabilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure end-to-end solution delivery that is aligned with enterprise standards and drives innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Consults with the business and operations to identify and understand challenges and opportunities to improve the use and effectiveness of technology, find creative solutions through knowledge of the domain, practical experiments, and Proof of Concepts, and aligns the solution intent and architectural vision to an evolving backlog of technology change
  • Works with product management and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epics/features
  • Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability)
  • Leads rapid shaping of a high level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements and ensures architecture is flexible, modular, and designed to adapt easily
  • Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions
  • Clarifies the architecture and assists with system design for the development teams to support implementation and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments
  • Utilizes the defined best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs and suggests improvements to best practices and templates
  • Define solution vision aligned to Fraud Analytics and Operations Line of Business
  • Evaluate intake to determine scope of impacts and impacted applications
  • Derive solution design aligned to specific business use cases
  • Define how a system behaves, focusing on quality attributes like performance, security, usability, and reliability rather than specific functions.
  • Drive collaboration and communication between all stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Big Data & ETL Spark/Hadoop, SQL, Airflow/ADF/Glue; batch + streaming at scale.
  • Cloud AWS/Azure architecture, serverless & containerized services, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD.
  • AI/GenAI LLM integration, RAG pipelines, vector DBs, model optimization, MLOps/LLMOps.
  • Architecture PoV creation, PoC execution, trade-off analyses, reference architectures, security by design.
  • Data Products Semantic layers, graph tech, metadata-driven architectures, lineage & governance.
  • Platform Engineering Reusable components, observability, performance, cost optimization.
  • Collaboration Cross-functional leadership, stakeholder demos, clear documentation and communication.
  • Languages/Tools Python, SQL, PySpark, MLflow, LangChain/LlamaIndex, Databricks, Kafka, Terraform.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Data modeling (dimensional, data vault, ontology design for knowledge graphs).
  • Data mesh operating model; product-oriented data contracts.
  • Advanced retrieval (hybrid search, Rerankers, multi-vector, structured + unstructured fusion).
  • Experience with offline/online feature stores
  • Edge/real-time AI and low-latency inference patterns.
  • Generative app patterns agents, tools/functions, multi-turn orchestration.
  • Exposure to industry-specific regulations and patterns (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, retail).
