Your Role
Gensler’s Birmingham office is seeking an experienced Architect with strong technical skills, and experience in the Retail & Lifestyle sectors, to join our team. You will be experienced in Revit, and a highly motivated individual with a proactive attitude and eager to learn.
A self-motivated team player with a positive,communicativeand collaborative approach, you will work with Architects and Interior Design colleagues across Gensler’s practice areas. As a member of the team, you will be fully integrated into design teams,participatinghands-on and collaborating directly with team members, across all stages, from test fits to technical detailing and construction documentation.
What You Will Do
As an Architect, you will tap into your boundless creativity to contribute towards the design of unique environments, providingexemplardesign knowledge from concept to completion of projects working across all the design stages.
Designing World class buildings
Involvement with all phases of the design process, including programming, concept design, schematic design, design and technical development,specificationand tendering processes
Support the Principals to develop the client,contractorand design team communications, developing andmaintainingstrong external and internal relationships
Prepare plans, elevations,detailsand sectionsthrough todetailed construction drawings
Your Qualifications
An undergraduate ormaster’s degree in Architecture or Architecture Technologyqualification with demonstrable experience in design, detailing and/or construction documentation
Proficiencyin Revita must, experience in Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3Ds Maxadvantageous
Experience within the datacentreand critical facilities sectors
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding graphic presentation skills
Experience with international projects an advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
