Teaching Assistants support the ARCH3214/6214 Structural Systems course and help students build confidence with basic structural framing systems design. Applicants should have completed ARCH3214/6214 (or an equivalent course) in good standing and be attentive, responsible, and have working knowledge of structural framing systems design.

Expected Duties:

• Grade weekly projects.

• Administer weekly undergraduate and graduate TA sessions.

• Provide occasional individual help sessions.

• Participate in weekly TA meetings.

Proposed Schedule:

Tuesday, 11:00 AM-12:15 PM: ARCH3214 undergraduate TA session. Thursday, 11:00 AM-12:15 PM: ARCH6214 graduate TA session. Plus approximately 2 hours/week for grading and 3-4 hours/week for TA meetings and related support. Some flexibility may be considered based on the TA's class schedule.
