Arborist

Location Field based across the Drogheda and county Louth

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Ground Control is expanding the team across the Drogheda area we’re looking for a skilled Arborist to join our Arb Utility division.

What you’ll do;

As an Arborist in our Utilities division, you’ll be responsible for the safe removal and clearance of vegetation and trees around power lines. Experience in Utility Arboriculture is ideal but not essential – however, you must be a qualified Arborist as a minimum.

What you’ll get;

You'll get to to be part of a professional, safety-focused team who has recently secured new work in this area. We will take the time to invest in your training to get your UA tickets as part of the role.

What We’re Looking For:

You must be a qualified Arborist with relevant certifications including a climbing ticket

• Experience in Utility Arb (preferred but not essential)

• A strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures

• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines

• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays, depending on workload and locations

Ideally you will have a full driving licence so that you are able to drive a work van
