This opportunity sits within our R&D Food Ingredients business unit, where we create effective and sustainable solutions with enhanced nutritional profiles, taste, texture, and functionality for food and beverage manufacturers worldwide.
The role is based in Brabrand, Denmark (on-site). You will participate in sensory evaluation activities that support ingredient development across a wide range of food and beverage applications. Working alongside experienced sensory professionals and fellow panel members, you will contribute valuable observations that help guide research and development decisions in a collaborative, supportive, and open-minded environment.
Where You'll Make a Difference
• Evaluate a wide variety of food ingredients and ingredient solutions used across multiple food and beverage applications.
• Participate in sensory evaluation sessions using established testing methods and processes.
• Provide observations during both individual and group evaluation activities.
• Contribute insights that help assess ingredient performance, functionality, and sensory characteristics.
• Follow detailed evaluation protocols and instructions with consistency and accuracy.
• Record evaluations using digital tools and sensory testing technologies, including tablets and similar devices.
• Engage with fellow panel members during scheduled evaluation sessions.
• Attend sensory sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (9 hours per week).
• Help maintain high standards of participation, data quality, and sensory evaluation practices.
What Makes You the Right Fit
• Ability to evaluate food ingredients and ingredient solutions using taste, smell, texture, and visual observations.
• Comfortable participating in sensory testing activities involving a broad range of food ingredients and ingredient solutions, including products containing animal-derived ingredients and approved food additives, with sensory capabilities that allow reliable assessment of taste, aroma, texture, and ingredient-related attributes. Any condition that could significantly affect taste, smell, or participation in sensory evaluations should be disclosed during the assessment process.
• Able to take part in tasting sessions involving different ingredient technologies and product formulations.
• Comfortable evaluating products that may contain a variety of ingredients, including sweeteners and food additives commonly used in food and beverage applications.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established evaluation procedures.
• Ability to communicate observations clearly during evaluation sessions.
• Comfortable using technology, including tablets and digital evaluation tools.
• Reliable availability to attend scheduled sensory sessions on a regular basis.
• Fluency in Danish is required.
