Job Description

An Aras PLM Solution Architect designs, configures, and implements Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems using the Aras Innovator platform. They bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, leading teams to build customized workflows, data models, and enterprise-wide integrations. [ 1, 2]

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Transform complex customer requirements into scalable, end-to-end technical architectures. [ 1, 2]
• Configuration & Customization: Define PLM lifecycles, workflows, and business rules using C#, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and AML. [ 1, 2]
• Project Leadership: Guide technical teams, manage onshore/offshore developers, and oversee data migration and system upgrades. [ 1, 2, 3]
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, deliver Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), and align technical solutions with business goals. [ 1, 2, 3]
• Integration & Maintenance: Integrate Aras with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD) and ensure platform security, scalability, and high availability. [ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8 to 10+ years in PLM solution architecture, with extensive hands-on experience using Aras Innovator.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Aras API customization.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of PLM concepts like Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Management, and version control.
• Certifications: Aras Certified Professional (ACP) or Aras Certified Architect credentials are highly valued.
• Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing, communication, and Agile/Scrum project management skills
