To deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction at Khalil Gibran School Rabat, developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in line with the Moroccan curriculum, while fostering an appreciation for Arabic language, literature, and cultural heritage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver engaging Arabic lessons covering language skills, literature, and cultural content.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning needs and proficiency levels.

Assessment and Evaluation

• Design and implement assessments while tracking student progress accurately.
• Provide feedback and prepare students for national exams.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage active participation and effective use of Arabic.

Student Support

• Identify learners needing additional support and provide targeted interventions.
• Build student confidence in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Participate in meetings, school events, and collaborate with colleagues.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Strong command of Arabic language and literature
• Effective communication and teaching skills
• Classroom management abilities
• Organizational and planning skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Adaptability to different learning levels
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Literature, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching qualification (e.g., CRMEF certification in Morocco).
• Previous teaching experience is an asset.
• Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic; knowledge of classical texts is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the Moroccan curriculum and exam requirements.
