We are seeking an Arab Localization Coordinator to join our Content and Localization team and support the adaptation of product, marketing and customer‑facing content for Arabic‑speaking markets. The role will focus on managing localisation workflows, coordinating with translators and agencies, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy across multiple channels and platforms, and working closely with Product, Marketing and Customer Service teams to deliver timely, high‑quality Arabic experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end‑to‑end localisation projects including content extraction, translation, review, implementation and quality assurance across web, mobile and marketing channels
Manage relationships with language vendors, freelance translators and in‑country reviewers; scope work, obtain quotes, track deliverables and ensure SLAs are met
Perform linguistic QA and cultural review of translated content to ensure accuracy, tone of voice, brand consistency and suitability for target audiences
Work with product and engineering teams to support string management, context provision and in‑app implementation; raise and track localisation tickets in the issue tracker
Maintain and update glossaries, style guides and translation memory assets to ensure consistency and to reduce cost and turnaround times
Prepare and manage localisation schedules, trackers and status reports; communicate progress and risks to stakeholders and escalate issues when required
Support copy adaptation for marketing campaigns, emails, social and paid media, ensuring messaging is culturally appropriate and optimised for engagement
Liaise with Customer Service to capture common customer phrasing, regional preferences and content gaps that inform localisation priorities
Validate final builds and live content, perform spot checks and coordinate post‑launch fixes to ensure a seamless customer experience
Contribute to process improvements, tooling evaluations (CAT tools, TMS) and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and quality
Support ad‑hoc cross‑functional projects involving legal, compliance and product copy where Arabic localisation input is required
What We’re Looking For
Fluent Arabic (native or near‑native) and fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, Arabic Studies or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
1–3 years’ experience in localisation, translation coordination, content operations or a related role, preferably within e‑commerce, tech or agency environments
Practical experience with translation management systems, CAT tools or content platforms; comfortable learning new tooling quickly
Good understanding of localisation best practices, QA methodologies and the challenges of Arabic script (directionality, pluralisation, diacritics, character limits)
Highly organised with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple workflows, deadlines and stakeholder expectations
Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality, consistency and user experience
Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset and the ability to work across cross‑functional teams
Familiarity with SEO‑led copy adaptation for Arabic and an understanding of market nuances across different Arab countries is an advantage
