Get On Board for a Dynamic and Purposeful Career We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to join our Finance team at PIL in DF, Mexico, reporting to the Country Finance Manager. The AR Supervisor leads receivables, collections, billing controls, and customer account management. The role ensures timely cash collection, healthy customer accounts, and compliance with PIL financial controls, contributing to improved cash flow and DSO performance.

Key Responsibilities

AR Operations & Collections

  • Supervise day-to-day AR and collections activities.
  • Monitor aging reports and drive recovery of overdue balances.
  • Ensure accurate cash application and receivable reporting.

Credit Control & Customer Management

  • Monitor customer credit exposure and escalate high-risk accounts.
  • Lead resolution of invoice and balance disputes.

Reporting & Month-End Closing

  • Review and approve account reconciliations and collection strategies.
  • Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach, develop, and supervise the AR team.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in AR, Credit Control, Collections, or Finance Operations.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.

  • Experience in multinational organizations.
  • Knowledge of shipping, logistics, transportation, or shared service environments.
  • Experience with ERP implementations or process improvement projects.
