Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Applications Analyst to join our team.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing detailed research and evaluation of projects and assignments requiring knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable or related background.

• Recommendations to management and initiate implementation of new procedures and processes.

• Develop management reporting using MS Excel, MS Access, and other office software.

• Collaborate with departments/business associates to analyze, understand and define business rules for department workflow and system enhancements.

• Develop detailed research and evaluation of projects and assignments requiring knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable or related background.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree

• 3 years or more Accounts Receivable, Analytical Acumen or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles, accounts receivable calculations DSO, have/need, cash factor, and bad debt.

• Identify issues to provide recommendations and financial implications, and/or operational applications in Revenue Cycle Management

• Asses, understand, and solve complex problems by applying data analysis and critical thinking.

Additional Job Standards

• Complete research and investigation into areas not clearly defined.

• Work from Home position. A hybrid schedule of office and Work from Home is a possibility for those candidates local to Burlington, NC.
