As our new Aquatics Manager/Leader, your purpose will be to help us create a fun and professional environment, providing our customers and their children with a great learning experience. You’ll work closely with the franchise owner and our swim instructors to help shape our school’s culture and commitment to running a smooth operation. You’ll also play a big role in helping bring more customers to the school and keep them coming back. This is a part-time position developing into a full-time as we scale. You will need to work flexible hours, including a regular weekend day and evenings. You will need to be able to travel locally in the Greater Santa Clara area to all our pools, as well as travel for Aquatic training and conferences. Your responsibilities will include:

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”

The United States Swim School Association began as The National Swim School Association (NSSA). It was founded in 1988 to provide a trade association for those who operate swimming schools in the United States. In 2003 the National Swim School Association changed it’s name to the United States Swim School Association. Currently the Association boasts over 400 member schools in 43 states and 17 countries worldwide.
