OUR TEAM

As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose in “Building A Future We Can All Trust".

We have an excellent opportunity to join us as an APRU Manager based in our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office. The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the Autonomous Production and/or Repair Unit (APRU) in the Industrial Centre of Competence. The APRU Manager is responsible for and focuses on execution to ensure performance in terms of time, cost and quality and continuous improvement. In addition, they are responsible for managing, coordinating and developing employees within their area of responsibility.

The APRU is focused on customer satisfaction and value creation through continuous improvement of delivery performance; performs all direct value-added activities and supplies products (new or repaired) to the business lines, including installation activities on customer premises, where applicable.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in analytical and problem-solving techniques such as Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Plan, Do Check Act (PDCA).

  • Technical knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes.

  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and principle flows and industrial management control and the MYB process.

  • Implementation of continuous improvement tools (Gemba Walks, 5S, just-in-time, PDCA).

  • Use of digital tools/dashboards to manage activities (analyses, decision support).
