We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as APQP Engineer based in Torreon, Coah. (E-Systems Division).

As APQP Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality systems with a preventive focus on validation and strict compliance with design requirements, manufacturing processes and products, as well as engineering, program launches and product transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Release of tooling and equipment for the entire production line, from pre-assembly to post-production equipment.
  • Review and follow-up of the PPAP package, review with the client based on specific requirements, and planning of documentation for each phase or engineering change.
  • Maintain and update Lear's and customer systems: Profile, GQTS, CQMS, SQMS.
  • Define the special characteristics of the harness based on client requirements, DFMEA, historical phase data, and update and create control drawings.
  • Request and follow up on PSW and IMDS approvals for components until all are 100% approved.
  • Develop inspection methods and follow up with the client on quality performance during each phase.
  • Define the inspection system for each production line: self-inspections, progressive inspections, sequential inspections, and visual aids.

Education Requirements

Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or similar.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in automotive harnesses required.
  • GM portals knowledge.
  • 3+ years of experience in the field.

Languages

Proficient english level.
