AME Pump Specialists is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Fitter & Turner Apprentice to join their team as a Pump Technician

This role provides hands-on experience and structured training across a wide range of industries, making it ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in mechanical trades.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Areas:

  • Assisting with repairs and servicing of industrial pumping equipment
  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks under supervision
  • Supporting pump overhauls and component replacements
  • Diagnosing faults and learning troubleshooting techniques
  • Working across diverse industries including:
  • Industrial and heavy industries
  • Water utilities
  • Mining
  • Food and beverage
  • Oil and gas
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Learning to interpret technical drawings and specifications
