About the mission we offer you:

Within the Corporate Treasury Front Office, the work-study student will be integrated into the team and will be responsible for the following tasks (among others):

• Assisting trading room operators with the day-to-day management of market transactions handled by the front office: foreign exchange hedging, investment transactions, treasury management, issuance of commercial paper under approved programs, and intercompany financing in collaboration with the middle office and the cash management department;

• Calculating foreign exchange provisions according to the model predefined by the group, within the framework of the group’s tenders.

• Assisting regional/local treasurers as needed with any foreign exchange issues, particularly in countries subject to currency convertibility restrictions.

• Conducting ad hoc studies upon request related to specific issues of currency convertibility and transferability, particularly in emerging markets, as well as potential commodity risk hedging issues

• Preparing customized reports for the front office, the Group Treasurer, or senior management.

• Participation in the preparation of daily liquidity reports and long-term forecasts using the GTR Hyperion business intelligence software.

• Review existing processes to identify potential improvements; draft standard operating procedures or training materials for the department or the treasury community.

• Participate in projects related to general front-office activities.

About you:

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a prestigious business school or university, with a specialization in finance or management, or ideally a specialized program in Treasury.

• You are a meticulous, organized individual with strong teamwork and communication skills.

• You have an aptitude for using IT systems related to finance and treasury. Proficiency in Excel is required.

• Previous experience in a corporate or banking setting would be a plus.

• You have a working knowledge of English to communicate with internal and external contacts in this language and to draft documents (emails, presentations, and procedures).
