Job Description

Abex Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join their team and complete a Certificate III in Carpentry while gaining hands-on experience in the construction industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career and develop practical skills working on residential construction projects.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will primarily be involved in:

  • Timber and steel house framing
  • General carpentry duties
  • Learning industry-standard construction techniques
  • Working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in carpentry and construction
  • Current driver's licence
  • Reliable vehicle for travel to worksites
  • White Card
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required Applicants should have (or be willing to obtain):

  • Work boots
  • Ear muffs/hearing protection
  • Safety glasses
  • Gloves
  • Dust mask

Tools A basic tool belt is preferred, including:

  • Tape measure
  • Square
  • Pencil
  • Hammer
