We’re looking for a Grade 1 or Apprentice Water Serviceperson to join our team supporting the operation and maintenance of water networks and pump stations.
In this hands-on role, you’ll assist experienced crews with routine and reactive maintenance across the network, including responding to faults, supporting repairs and completing reinstatement works. You’ll help maintain water infrastructure to a high standard while learning industry skills and gaining practical experience in the field.
You’ll also support incident response when required and take part in standby and call-out rosters. This is a great opportunity to build a career in essential services while working with a supportive and safety-focused team.
Mōu koe | About You
You will bring:
• Interest in water infrastructure, civil works or utilities
• Some experience in infrastructure or civil works (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
• Ability to complete field documentation and use mobile devices
• Experience dealing with customers or the public
• Full Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 and RTW an advantage)
You’re motivated, reliable and keen to learn while building a long-term career in the water industry.
