Primary Responsibilities:
Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order under the supervision of a Licensed Technician with efficiency and accuracy,in accordance withdealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures
Discusses any problems related to the repair with their supervising Technician or Service Manager.
Performs basic equipment maintenance and maintenance records.
Examines assigned vehicle todetermineif further safety or service work isrequiredor recommended.
Reviews all repairs with a Supervising Technician.
Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
Skills and Qualifications
Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent
Must be enrolled in an accredited provincial journeyman’s program with the goal to earn full journeyman certification as an automotive repair technician (310S) or provincial equivalent.
Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
Working knowledge of technical repairs and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
