Job Description

As a part of EPO, the Systems, Processes & Compliance (SPC) department undertakes and globally deploys transformation programs aimed at optimizing purchasing processes, systems and IT tools while ensuring compliance of EPO’s operations and activities. SPC department oversees Contract management and Middle office and Trading for ArcelorMittal Sourcing. The SPC team ensures compliance with procurement processes and rules, as well as adherence to ISO standards. They act as the interface with the central SPC team, local buyer teams, and industrial cluster managers, while also serving as the point of contact for supplier management

We are looking for an Apprentice to join our SPC department based in Dunkirk for a 12-month apprenticeship contract.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the supplier approval process (management of the approval portal) in interface with Security and Safety services.
  • Management of supplier approvals: checking and validating data (VMD process).
  • Participate in the evaluation of suppliers of categories based in the hubs (sites) with the buyers and the global SPC team.
  • Management of purchase requests in SAP orders.

Profile Required:

  • License or Master’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Student in Economics, Procurement, Engineering. or related field.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, knowledge of SAP, and a good understanding of procurement processes.
  • Proficient in Excel and standard Office tools.
  • Interest in procurement and supplier management.
  • Systems-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Fluency in French and professional level of English is required. Proficiency in any other language is a plus.
