  • Contract: Fixed term or secondment for 18 months (Apprenticeship)

Your role and responsibilities

  • Our main focus is to provide support to colleagues on the various digital systems and applications used within Suffolk Highways, and the wider Growth, Highways and Infrastructure directorate.
  • Primary duties and activities will include monitoring the shared mailbox and picking up requests for support or training, producing guidance documentation and videos on the systems we support, and collaborating with the asset data team on joint projects.
  • You will have plenty of opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and contractors and make a difference by streamlining processes using digital solutions.
  • You'll be working day to day with the Technical Development Manager and System Support Technician, who welcome a new addition to the team!

You will need

  • initiative and problem-solving skills to thrive in this support role
  • familiarity with Microsoft 365 products (outlook, excel, teams, word, etc.) which would be helpful.

Our ideal candidate does not need to have all the technical expertise yet but should have a willingness to learn and develop.
