About the Team

The OneCRM team is a global technology team responsible for supporting and enhancing OneCRM—Pearson’s enterprise Salesforce platform that powers Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

OneCRM is used by sales, customer service, and business teams to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, and service interactions through a single, integrated system.

The team operates at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring Salesforce solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with real business needs. Core areas of support include lead and opportunity management, case handling, customer communications, reporting, and automation across Sales and Service Cloud.

About the Role

As an Apprentice in the OneCRM team, you will support the day‑to‑day operations and continuous improvement of Pearson’s Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to a large‑scale enterprise CRM system used globally by sales and customer service teams. You will work closely with experienced Salesforce professionals to support users, investigate and resolve issues, and assist with system enhancements.

Through real‑world assignments, you will learn how Salesforce is configured and supported in a live production environment and how technology solutions are aligned with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

With appropriate guidance and mentoring, you will:

Assist with user support and issue triage for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Analyze support tickets, system behavior, and data issues to help identify root causes

Support configuration changes such as fields, page layouts, validation rules, reports, and dashboards

Participate in testing activities for new features, enhancements, and platform releases

Document processes, solutions, and user guides to support ongoing operations

Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams across multiple locations


Skills and Attributes
Required / Core Skills

Strong interest in technology and enterprise systems

Basic understanding of CRM concepts such as customers, sales, service, and data

Good analytical and problem‑solving skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn, follow defined processes, and work collaboratively within a team

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to Salesforce (Trailhead, coursework, internship, or certification preparation)

Familiarity with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud concepts such as leads, opportunities, or cases

Basic understanding of IT support or ticketing systems


Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Recent graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply

Must meet the requirements under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and be registered on the NATS portal

Must be legally eligible to work in India


Work Schedule

This is a full‑time apprenticeship, Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Some flexibility may be required to support collaboration with global teams across different time zones.
