We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Social Infrastructure business who revitalise homes and communities through the regeneration of living spaces, breathing new life into neighbourhoods.

You will join our resident liaison team, who are responsible for ensuring that strong communication links are built and maintained between the resident whose home we are working in, the client we are working on behalf of, and our operational site team who are carrying out the refurbishment work on properties. This role will require extensive travel between our offices and project sites where works are being carried out. Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting the team with:

  • maximising comfort for all residents during work, ensuring that any issues which arise are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • administration duties, resident visits and making courtesy calls to tenants, prior to customer satisfaction surveys being issued to them.
  • delivering Health and Safety presentations for local school visits within the local community.
  • coordination and administration of newsletters, meetings, daily visits, open days and group events etc.
  • recording and photographing the condition of white goods/working area for every property, before work starts and assisting with product training for residents.
  • ensuring all appropriate records and documentation are maintained confidentially and in line with GDPR.
  • assisting with recording complaints/alleged damage claims to residents’ property/personal belongings.
  • supporting the team in proactively investigating and resolving complaints.

As an Apprentice with United Infrastructure, you’ll be given a real job from day one where you will gain hands-on industry experience, and the knowledge required to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

In order to fully develop in your role, you will be enrolled onto the L2 Customer Service practitioner apprenticeship qualification with one of our training partners. This learning pathway is delivered entirely remotely, and you will access online self-accessed or virtually delivered classroom sessions, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.

Academic Entry Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have:

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Mathematics
  • Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages
  • Good organisation, time management, attention to detail and communication skills

You must also be available to start full-time work by November 2026 and have:

  • The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme.

Please note, as this is an apprenticeship programme, in order to be eligible to apply you must not already have an equivalent level or higher qualification in the occupational area, or significant work experience.

Upon successful completion of your programme, you will achieve:

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.
  • Eligible for membership of the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level.
