  • Assist the Svitzer Port Technicians as may be required. This may include servicing, repairs, disassembly, reassembly and fabrication of parts.
  • Assist the Fitter with control of the supply of equipment, spares etc via a maintenance management system.
  • To assist, undertake and perform other duties which may be required from time to time to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
  • What’s on offer:
  • ⚙️ Paid practical engineering experience
  • ⚙️ Level 3 engineering qualification
  • ⚙️ One day per week at college with four days in the workplace
  • ⚙️ Experience working on world-class marine equipment
  • ⚙️ Support from experienced technicians and assessors

We’re looking for motivated individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, and with a passion for engineering.
