Apprentice Plumber

Based Derby (onsite at our client Rolls-Royce).

What this opportunity involves:

JLL are excited to open applications for our 2026 Apprenticeship program. We are seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Derby. This is an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in Plumbing within a commercial setting. The successful candidate will be provided with specialised training, which combines working towards an externally accredited and assessed NVQ qualification, developing new skills and gaining valuable experience whilst working on the job. On completion of this apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be a fully qualified Plumber, responsible for working towards excellent standards of quality and safety in all aspects of their work. Following a successful apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for the right individual to progress into a permanent role within JLL.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
• Support senior plumbers on-site with various tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet industry standards.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for plumbing installations.
• Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to uphold safety and functionality.
• Help troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and safe working conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

GCSE English (minimum grade 4) and Maths (minimum grade 4) There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Health and safety-conscious mindset.

Assessment:

The recruitment Assessment will take place W/C 1st June 2026.

Apprenticeship The course will be based onsite and at College from September 2026.
