The Apprentice Plumber assists licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems. This position is designed to develop technical skills, job-site professionalism, and code knowledge through hands-on training and supervision.

JOB DUTIES

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials for job sites
• Cut, assemble, and install piping systems (PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, etc.) under supervision
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as drain cleaning, fixture replacement, and leak repairs as skills develop
• Observe and learn proper diagnosis of plumbing issues and repair procedures
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and job-site regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Hand tools and materials to lead plumber and anticipate job needs
• Assist with trenching, excavation, and pipe exposure when required
• Properly use and care for company tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
  
  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Apprentice plumbers must have applicable certifications and licensing required by the state of Texas.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
