Apprentice Laboratory Technician

About the Role
· Live the Project Values
· Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
· Working safely within the within the Laboratory and in the construction site
· Working alongside other team members, testing the properties of construction materials including Concrete, Grout, Soils and Aggregates.
· Improving the performance of existing products, already in place.
· Developing an understanding, knowledge and practical methods used to examine materials, including non-destructive testing (NDT).
· Working to established test methods to ensure quality and to support the Lab in maintaining its accreditation to operate.
· Travelling to and from sites, collecting materials to be tested.
Qualifications
· Full UK driving License
· None required - Apprentice Role
Experience
· Good interpersonal/communication skills
· Ability to collaborate with others
· Hunger for learning
· Enthusiastic learner keen to engage in practical and theoretical learning tasks
· Timekeeping and punctuality
· Desire for continuous improvement and development
· Quick learner
· Flexible in ability to work across numerous locations for the role.
· Well organise
