Pay, £21,216 (under 20) - £24,853 (21 and over)
Hours, 37.5 hours per week

Our customer only apprenticeships are open to all ages and backgrounds, whether you’re starting out, changing direction, or returning to work.
About the role
You’ll initially study for your Level 2 which is 24 months, if successful you will move onto Level 3 which is a further 15 months of study.You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
Install, repair and maintain joinery components, such as doors, floors and fittings
Prepare, set out and complete joinery tasks in occupied and empty homes, using the right tools and materials
Work safely on site, following health and safety guidelines
Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
Record work accurately and quality checks as part of your apprenticeship

Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship
Delivered by Lakes College
You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who:
Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-4 (A*-C)
Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written
Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
You don’t need previous experience; we’ll support you every step of the way.
