What’s the opportunity?
Our four-year Apprenticeship Program gives you the hands-on training and guidance from experienced tradespeople and a Nationally Accredited Trade Certificate through a Registered Training Organisation. As part of our program, you’ll receive necessary tools, TAFE accommodation and additional support if required.
The roster is Monday-Friday working a 9-day fortnight.
You will be responsible for contributing to the reliability and safe operation of Northparkes’ fixed and mobile plant and equipment by carrying out electrical maintenance site-wide in accordance with industry best practice.

The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, safety-focused environment and is eager to learn and has a genuine interest in the electrical trades. You have completed or are completing Year 12 and hold a current Driver’s Licence. You bring strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively, and are confident using computers and digital systems. You are committed to working safely and professionally, taking pride in contributing to a team that values excellence, accountability, and respect. Your background, whether through previous work experience, hobbies, or personal projects, shows initiative, curiosity, and a practical approach to technical tasks.
